Can the Lippert Wind Sensor Be Added to Non-Smart Arms

Question:

I have a 2021 GD Reflection 311BHS FW, I wanted to add the wind sensors to my Solera power awnings, is it possible without the smart arms?

It is not, Bryant. In order to add a wind sensor # LC715123 to your Lippert Solera arms you'd need to upgrade your arms to the smart arms # LC759516.

Hey Bryant, did you end up upgrading your Solera awning arms to the smart arms so you could use the wind sensors? Knowing how that setup worked could help others looking to add the same feature.

@LazerS No i did not, the cost to upgrade my awnings was not worth it to me. (I have 2 awning and would not do one without the other)

@BryantE I hear that. It's a nice upgrade, but it by no means inexpensive. Especially if there is more than one awning. Just let us know if there is anything else we ca help with down the road! : )
