Is There a Replacement Hinge Bracket For Lippert SolidStep 4.0

Question:

I need a kick plate bracket for a Lippert Solid Step on my Viking RV Trailer 262BHS. It mounts the step to the stairs. Mines bent. Its a 20 wide pc of metal that screws to the steps and the foot of the door.

Hi Jim, I reached out to Lippert for you and they told me that with the SolidStep 4.0, which I assume is what you have, is not something that aftermarket dealers can get the replacement bracket for. They didn't say if this would change, but you'd have to contact Lippert for this directly.

Hey Jim, were you able to get the kick plate bracket for your Solid Step directly from Lippert? Knowing what worked could help others trying to replace the same part.
