Are hatch huggers required for Saris Bones EX 2 trunk rack when installed on 2014 Toyota Plug-in Prius lift back? Thank you.

Hey Ivar, you do not need to use Hatch Huggers part # SA3035 with the Saris Bones part # SA803 installed on your 2014 Toyota Prius.

OK, Jameson, that's a start. The Saris Bones EX2 rack has paired top, side, and bottom straps with hooks. Which of these pairs gets replaced by the Hatch Huggers when installed on my 2014 Plug-in Prius? Thank you.

@IvarZ Actually I did more digging and it doesn't need the hatch huggers. My apologies! Fit Notes Place lower rack feet into license plate well. 2 BIKE / 70 LB LOAD LIMIT. Bikes must be located in positions closest to vehicle. Do not open trunk with rack installed. Disable/do not use rear wiper when rack is installed. Upper strap should be placed over the leg.
