Will etrailer Solar Charging System Work With Shore Power/Vehicle Charging

Question:

My question is about the compatibility of the solar panel charger with the rest of the current charging systems. My trailer like most trailers have a shore AC power charger and also a connection to the towing vehicles charge system. Do we need to add switches or route all the charging systems to a master charger controller or are all the systems: solar, shore, towing vehicle left to charge the batteries independently and/or at the same time ?

Hi Peter; you do not need a master controller to add the etrailer Solar Charging System # e39FV to your setup. The included controller will read the battery and send the correct voltage when you have shore power or power coming from your tow vehicle.
