Hello Glenn. We do offer an extended shank that can be used with a WDH, the Equal-i-zer Weight Dist Shank # EQ90-02-4500. This shank is about 6" longer than the standard shanks that come with the Equal-i-zer hitches.
That said, the Equal-i-zer WD hitches are actually one of the lightest on the market, so if you are looking for something that weighs less, I am afraid we do not have anything significantly lighter to offer you. Really any 6,000 lb rated WD hitch will weigh right around 100 lbs. The Equal-i-zer are known to be great quality so my suggestion is to get the extended shank, and continue to use the Equal-i-zer hitch you already have.
