Hello Pete; thank you for providing that information. The most important thing when choosing a weight distribution hitch is tongue weight. We know the dry hitch weight of your trailer is 485 lbs and the GVWR is 4,485. Since tongue weight is typically 10-15% of the trailer weight you're looking at a max of roughly 673 lbs.
Based on this information I recommend the Fastway e2 Weight Distribution # FA92-00-0800 you were looking at. I really like the Fastway hitch since it is a high quality system at a reasonable price point. It is made by Equal-i-zer who is largely considered the best when it comes to weight distribution. The tongue weight range of this system is 400-800 lbs so you're covered when the trailer is empty or fully loaded.
You will also need # EQ91-00-6080 for a 2" ball or # EQ91-00-6140 for a 2-5/16" ball along with a 1-7/8" 12pt Thin Walled Socket # ALL643216 for hitch ball installation.

Thanks! So I’m curious. Since the dry hitch weight of the trailer is 485 lbs., and the max tongue weight for my vehicle is 560, wouldn’t adding a weight distribution system that weighs about 100 lbs., put me over the max recommended tongue weight?
