Adapter for Advent Air AC Replacing Carrier Air V on 2004 Damon Daybreak

Question:
I have a 2004 Carrier Air V model 68RV14112A with remote control that needs to be replaced. Do you have an adaptor kit for your Advent 15,000 BTU ducted unit?

Hi Doug; we do have an adapter that makes the Advent Air RV Air Conditioner # ACM150 compatible with your Carrier setup. What you need is the Carrier Adapter Wiring Kit for Advent Air RV Air Conditioners # ACCARKIT. It looks like there is a bit of a wait on the AC unit right now (as of July 2024) so if you need a replacement right now the Advent Air Low Profile RV Air Conditioner # ADV29FR will also work using the same wiring adapter.

Thanks so much for your quick response. I'm using my RV at this time, but the main air conditioner is getting weak and it will have to be replaced when I return home. Your system seems to be perfect for me, and I will probably replace the 13,000 unit at the same time. Will be in touch with you over the winter months. This is a definite project.
