I'm assuming you're asking if you swap your Carrier unit to the Advent Air Replacement RV Air Conditioner for Carrier Setup # ACCAR150 will you still be able to use your current remote. If that's the case then yes you will absolutely be able to use your remote with the new unit.
This unit is compatible with both ducted and ductless units, and will also allow you to retain the use of your existing air distribution box and thermostat.

I have a 2006 Damon Astoria that originally had two Carrier AC units with wireless remotes. Several years ago I replaced the front AC with an Advent AC and seem to remember that I had to re-use the freeze thermostat but everything else was pretty much a straight swap out with an adapter wiring plug/harness. I still have my rear Carrier AC and it's still working. I recently began having issues with the front Advent/Carrier-Hybrid unit with what appears to be a "sticking" relay for the compressor. Sometimes the Compressor is still running with the AC turned off and the only way to stop it is to turn of the breaker for that unit. I understand that the relay is in the Thermostat Control PCB.....is there a replacement part that will work and still keep my Carrier Wireless Thermostat Controls? I am basically unclear if the Thermostat Control PCB board is the original Carrier one or did it come with the Advent (and therefore an Advent one)? I don't seem to remember doing any major wiring (especially Thermostats) switching when I put in the Advent. If an Advent Thermostat PCB board will work in the place of what I have....what is the Part # and is there any sort of install instructions? Secondly....if my rear Carrier unit ever goes out....can I still get a wiring harness conversion so that I can just put in another Advent unit? If so...what is the Part # and instructions?
