I am looking for a bearing kit for Dexter Axle P-15, Model SLR, 3500 lb. ,serial number D-4181243 1999 Ja-Mar trailer utility trailer . The spindles are 5 lug with 15 inch wheels. Will this BK2-100 kit fit or is there another kit?

Hey thanks for reaching out, Robert. Your Dexter P-15 model SLR 3,500 lb axle does use the standard bearing combination for a 3,500 lb axle. I was able to confirm this with Dexter. So, you have # L68149 for the inner bearing and # L44649 for the outer bearing. Meaning the # BK2-100 bearing kit is exactly what you need.

@Mike Any idea what year the axle was made? Is the weight capacity on the axle tag anywhere?

@Mike Do you still have the hubs that came with the axle? If there is a number cast on the hub we might be able to use that to find your bearing info. If not I can try sending the SN over to Dexter but that can sometimes take a while.
