Question:
Hi, I’m getting a E8 code on my FOGATTI tankless water heater model # FS08B1SA. What steps should I take to diagnose it? The unit is 3 months old and only used for 2 separate trips.

Hey Michael,
An E8 error code means you have a wind pressure switch failure. When the power is turned on for 5 seconds, the wind pressure switch is closed or the wind pressure is continuously disconnected for 2 seconds. There isn't much you can do besides check the exhaust tube to see if it's clogged or see if the sensor has a loose connection. I recommend reaching out to Fogatti for a warranty replacement.

Hey Michael, were you able to get the E8 error on your Fogatti water heater resolved after checking the exhaust tube and sensor connections? Knowing what fixed it could help others who see the same code on their units.
