Hello Christine, thanks for reaching out. To Replace the Dometic Duo-Therm AC model 59516.501 we have options from both Advent Air and Furrion. I recommend going with the Furrion Chill HE model # FR42PV. This comes with a 15,000 BTU AC unit, as well as a conversion kit that makes it directly compatible with the current Dometic AC system. Meaning your ceiling register and thermostat will stay in place and work the same. The Furrion units are efficient and quiet, so this will be a nice upgrade for you. Especially if the current AC unit if original to the camper.

Hi Christine, how did the swap to the Furrion Chill HE go on your Holiday Rambler? It sounds like keeping your original ceiling register and thermostat made things easier. Your update could make it easier for the next person replacing an older Dometic unit.
