Will Leer Tonneau Cover From 2021 Sierra 2500 Fit 2024 GMC Sierra 1500 With 6'7" Bed

Hi. I have a Leer 650320 quad-fold hard tonneau cover from my 2021 GMC Sierra 2500 HD 6' 9" bed. It looks like it might fit on the 2024 GMC Sierra 1500 6'7" bed that I plan to buy, although Leer calls for the 650301 p/n for that truck. How different are the two p/ns, and could the 650320 work on my new 2024 1500?

Hi Shane,

Technically the Leer Tonneau Cover # LE67FR that fits your 2020 GMC Sierra 2500 with a 6'9" bed is the same HF650M model as the one that fits the 2024 GMC Sierra 1500 with a 6'7" bed, which is part # LE47FR.

I can't tell you if it will fit as nobody has installed the wrong tonneau on a truck to test it out but I cannot imagine it will work. The issue is your current cover will be nearly 3 inches longer than need be for your '24 Sierra 1500. The bed sizes are actually 79.4 inches for the '24 1500 and 82.2 inches for the '21 2500, so the rails will be the wrong length and the cover will so it may not even fully close.

Hey Shane, what did you end up doing with your Leer quad-fold cover when you got the 2024 Sierra 1500? Knowing whether you tried the fit or went with the other model could help others looking at the same swap.
