Question:
Im looking at Timbren Silent Ride Suspension for my 2024 Stealth Enclosed Supreme car hauler to both lift the frame and smooth the ride. It has 2 x 3,500 square torsion axles w/ ebrakes but because of axle spacing, Ive been advised to use 2 sets of Timbren for single axle TSR3500S05. 1 Should I consider a different approach? 2 Can I use the tortion axles with the Timbren product? 3 A rough measure of the axles looks more like 2.25 square vs. 2. Could they be over 2?

Hello again, James. We will need to consider a different approach here because the Timbren Silent Ride Suspension like part # TSR3500S05 cannot be used with torsion axles. In order to use the Silent Ride you would need to completely replace both axles, which kind of defeats the purpose of the Silent Ride system in the first place. If you want to look into it, I will need to know the length of your axle measured across from hub-face to hub-face.
The 2" square axle is highly common. It could be a larger size, but a 2-1/4" square axle is not a standard size at all. You could always measure with a digital caliper to be sure. Ultimately, I would have to recommend sticking with the # K71-724-02 Torflex Lift Kit I mentioned before.

Jesse; thanks for the follow up and clarifying re. silent ride doesn't work w/ torsion. I was able to gather additional info on the trailer OEM setup (Alcom/Waco): tandem Dexter Torflex (#3,500 each, 93 1/2" hub face, 80" outside bracket, 22 1/2° up angle) with 2 3/8" square axles, vertical bolts to the frame, and 5 stud hubs w/ electric brakes. I also located Dexter sticker on an axle which showed SKU 65-00000037. Given the additional detail, it appears that this has the #10 Torflex so am I limited to "Torflex Lift Kit - Tandem Axle - 2-5/8" Lift K71-707-02" Thanks
