Question:

Is there a standard for the power to the AUX +12V power lead in a 7-way trailer connection? Note: The CURT Echo Brake Controller (51180) Requires that one "Ensures the fuse for this connection is rated for 30 amps." This seems to be a minimum and I would assume that most vehicles with factory 7-way connector have at least 30 amps or this controller couldn't be used in most applications.

Hey Mark, yeah the standard for the 12 volt accessory circuit on a trailer 7-way is normally a 40 amp breaker like part # 9510 and 10 gauge wire like part # 10-1-1
