Installing A Pure Sign Wave Inverter With Transfer Switch To An AC/DC Power Distribution Panel

Question:

I have a2021 Arctic Fox 27.5L. its distribution panel is the PD5000 series. can i wire into this or does it need a split panel?

The Progressive Dynamics Pure Sine Wave Inverter w/ Transfer Switch # PD64FR will require separate bus bars. Your AC in will go to your main bus bar and your AC out will go to your secondary bus bar. The items on your secondary bus bar will be powered by the inverter when shore power is not available.

When shore power is available and the inverter is off AC current will simply flow through the inverter to power the secondary bar.

If your PD5000 series distribution box is your main panel and doesn't have two separate bus bars then you will need a second panel.
