Is Pre-Charge Resistor Needed When Installing Rich Solar NOVA 3k12

Question:
I am interested in installing this in my Brinkley Z Air 297. I have a 300 ah lithium battery. Do I need a “pre-charge resistor”?

Hey Jon, welcome back! I checked with Rich Solar and went through the install guide/owners manual of the Rich Solar NOVA 3K12 3000W 12V Pure Sine Wave Inverter with Built-in Transfer Switch for RVs # RS79VR that you referenced and they do not recommend or require the use of a pre-charge resistor when using with a lithium battery like you have so you would not need to install one. You can still install one if you wanted to but it is not required to prevent sparks. What battery did you go with?
