What Size Quick Disconnect Propane Fitting Is Used On Champion Generators

Question:

Can you identify the FEMALE fitting on the propane hose in photos on right, and suggest a source? This fitting connects to the MALE propane connection portinch on a Champion generator photo on left.

Hi James,

Champion's quick disconnect hose is comes with 3/8" JIC quick disconnect fitting. On some models the male fitting is built into the generator and the hose has the female side, just like in your case. I reached out to Champion because we don't offer 3/8" sizing for quick disconnect hoses and they stated they don't offer them separately either so you'll want to check out your local hardware store. You may have to get just the fitting and crimp it onto a hose if your local store doesn't have one with the hose already attached.
