Help Resolving Rattle On Front Pins Of Gen-Y Hitch Gooseneck Trailer Hitch # GY83XR On Ram 3500

Question:

I recently bought the gen y gooseneck hitch for my 2022 ram 3500. It’s the one that fits the factory puck system. When I hooked up my horse trailer the first time the part that is on the front pucks wants to lift up and it rattles like hell when driving. Is there anything I can do to stop the rattle?

Since the front pins on the Gen-Y Hitch Gooseneck Trailer Hitch # GY83XR do not lock into the factory pucks there aren't really any adjustments you can make to these pins. As an alternative you could try some rubber washers on the pins to see if they will help the rattle you are getting.
