Will the Gen-Y Gooseneck Hitch with Offset Push the Pin Weight Behind the Axle of a 2022 Ram 3500

Question:
I have a 2022 Ram 3500 with a short box, and curious if the weight is transfer back on the truck bed or not. Does this push the hitch weight back in in the bed of the truck or since it connects to the factory gooseneck connection, does this still put the weight over the axle? if this 5inch offset pushes the weight of the trailer behind the rear axle, will that be a problem for extended use? Thank you

Great questions, Jeremy!
The Gen-Y Hitch Gooseneck Trailer Hitch # GY83XR will put the pin weight in a safe place over the axle for your 2022 Ram 3500. I don't have the specs for where your center puck is currently located, but it will be 5" further back so you'll be able to get a better idea of where exactly this location will be.
Gen-Y has done extensive testing, and they don't have any rules about limiting the use of this product so you're good to go!
