What Curt Helux do I Need to Replace My MORryde RPB72-FD Lippert Rhino Pin Box?
Updated 07/22/2025 | Published 07/17/2025 >
Question:
Have a 2025 grand design 380FL. Currently has the MO-RYDE pin box installed. I cant for the life of me verify this Helux from Curt will fit my pin box. I am pretty sure I have a Rhino pin box but I am not very sure. Can you all verify my research. I did verify my tongue weight today pretty light for the rig size. 3000 lbs. So the 4850 pin box would work. Just need to make sure the pin box is the right size.

Hello Michael,
Congrats on the new 5th Wheel! What’s your favorite feature so far?
Three words everyone likes to hear: "You are correct." And you are! Your pin box is indeed the Lippert Rhino. I’m not sure why Lippert doesn’t just put that on the sticker.
Since your tongue weight is 3,000 pounds, you’ll want the Curt Helux Shock-Absorbing 5th Wheel Pin Box - 24K GTW - 4,850 lbs TW # C63RJ.
You’ll be glad you made the switch. I really like how they designed it to use a spring instead of an air bag, it still absorbs road shock for a smoother ride, without the extra maintenance. No need to check air pressure or worry about a potential air bag failure.
Have you already taken your first trip with the new rig?

Sounds good, yes I have to agree, have no idea why they can't place this label on the sticker. I had a Curt Airbag pin box on my 2019 Keystone Cougar. Loved the difference in ride, quite night and day. There is some extra time on each hookup to air up the airbag. This spring will be much easier to hookup. The MORyde still has a good bit of chucking across bumps on the road. Its a big heavy rig behind the truck need the extra absorption. Yes we have taken quite a few trips with his rig this year. Been at the beach most of the summer. Thanks and take care.
