Bolts Needed To Mount The Gen-Y Hitch Shock Absorbing 5th Wheel to Gooseneck Pin Box # GY48GR

Question:
The Gen-y gooseneck model GY48GR, did not come with instructions. I installed it on my fifth wheel, but what are the bolts supposed to be torqued to? The hardware was not included, and it was told to me to use the same hardware I removed. They are grade 5 bolts and had to buy grade 5 nuts as the originals were welded on the the pin box. Thanks

Hey Mike,
The Gen-Y Hitch Shock Absorbing 5th Wheel to Gooseneck Pin Box # GY48GR requires 5/8 x 1-1/2" grade 8 bolts and nuts that need to be torqued to 160ft/lbs. You'll want to use a minimum of 4 bolts per side.
