Will Curt Hitch Fit 1997 BMW 318ti

Question:

Need to install a hitch on my 1997 BMW 318ti. The 11177 seems to be the correct hitch for this purpose. Would this be correct? If not, why? I am not adverse to using a modification to make it work.

Yes, the Curt # C11177 is the correct hitch for your 1997 BMW 318 ti. This fits all models of the 1997 3 series. It has a bolt-on installation and drilling will be required. No other modifications are necessary.

@Nick we no longer have this hitch since it was discontinued and our stock ran out but I can tell you it fits the following: 1992-98 BMW SERIES, M3 2DR COUPE, 4DR SEDAN, 1999 BMW 300 SERIES, M3 2 DR COUPE, 1994-99 BMW 300 SERIES CONVERTIBLE
