Recommended 7-Way to 4-Way Adapter

Question:
My 2022 Volvo XC 90 came with a towing package that includes a 7-pole round trailer connector built in to the hitch. My small boat trailer has a standard 4-way flat connector. Based on my review of your site it looks like your Pollack 7 to 4 connector adapter/reducer would be the appropriate adapter. Can you confirm? I'm concerned about connecting the wrong adapter and causing my vehicle's electric to short out. Thanks. Phil.

You won't have any issues with the adapter causing shorts with your Volvo's electrical system. This adapter just takes the lighting signals from your 7-way and transfers them to your boats 4-way.
