What Does Pivot Length Refer to For Fulton Fold-Away Coupler

Question:
Hello I am looking to install a fulton trailer tongue hinge kit on My boat trailer. The tube measures 3x3. I am unsure how to use the chart to determine the max cut length distance.

The chart is just giving you the max capacities for different distances when installing the Fulton Fold-Away Coupler Hinge Kit for 3" x 3" Tongue # FHDPB330301.
For me it's easier to ignore the chart, and just use the table on the side. The distances (Max Pivot Length) are simply the distance from the center of the coupler ball back to where the furthest pivot hole will be of the # FHDPB330301. Basically you can just measure the right distance for your trailer tongue, put the coupler hinge on top of the tongue and draw a line where the pivot hole is.
