Which Blue Ox Weight Weight Distribution System for Lance 1475 Trailer

Question:
I have a Toyota 4Runner TRD Off-Road towing a Lance 1475 tailer. The 4Runner has a maximum tow rating of 5,000lbs with a maximum tongue weight of 500lbs. The dry weight of the trailer is 3,500lbs with a loaded weight of 4,500lbs. I’m looking for sway control and weight distribution from the hitch. I’m considering the BlueOx SwayPro BXW0550 or BXW0750. We are very conscientious about keeping the loaded weight below the 4,500lb maximum. Is the BXW0550 sufficient for my needs, or should I step-up to the BXW0750?

Hey Donald, the best Blue Ox weight distribution would be the pat # BXW0550 as it has a perfect tongue weight range for your 450 lb tongue weight trailer.
