Can the touch pad on the Smart Jack be replaced?

Unfortunately, the only way to replace the control panel on the Lippert Smart Jack # LC643589 is to replace the entire jack. According to Lippert, the only replacement parts for the jack are the hardware like the pin or the footplate along with the override plugs # LC733925.

I’ve already ordered a new jack. I saw yesterday, after I sent my question in the FAQ area where you had to replace the entire jack.
