Question:
We just bought a 2007 exiss sport three horse gooseneck trailer. The keys were missing on the dressing room lock so we are going to replace the entire lock. I am having trouble finding the right size. The latch hole is 4 1/2 in tall by 2 3/4 in. wide. Can you please give me recommendations for the correct size lock we need. Thanks so much

Those dimensions are tough to match with that height of 4-1/2". Unfortunately, we don't have an exact match for that cutout so some modifications will be required. This isn't uncommon since trailers use such a wide variety of parts over time.
I have two options for you depending on the route you want to go. The # 295-000019 will fit in that opening you have but it is a little short since it is designed for a max cutout of 3" wide x 4" tall. The overall dimensions are 3.47" wide x 4.28" tall so you would have a gap. You could try to use some kind of material to fill the gap and that would allow you to use the lock.
The other option is to enlarge the opening so a bigger latch can fit the door. The Bauer Products Rotary Latch for Horse and Utility Trailers # BA85FR requires a 6" tall x 4" wide cutout so you would need to make the opening wider and taller.
