Troubleshooting Brake Controller of 2024 Chevy Silverado 3500 Not Working with EOH Actuator

Question:
Got a 2024 Chevy 3500 Deisel truck pulling a Wilson cattle trailer. Sometime they work and sometimes they dont. Trailer has hydraulic brakes on it. The truck hook up to an electric brake trailer all works fine. Wondering what could be the problem. The trailer brake has power to it and it works if you pull the break away switch out

Hey Bradley, unfortunately integrated brake controllers don't always love to consistently work with electric over hydraulic brakes so I would assume that is the issue. If you let me know what actuator you have on the trailer I can see if there's an adapter for it that will help otherwise an aftermarket controller like the P2 part # 90885 that has a hydraulic mode would be a great option.
Also worth checking is to see if your integrated controller has a hydraulic mode setting that isn't being used at the time.
