Does the Roadmaster Even Brake Portable Flat Tow Brake System Work w/out the Monitor?

I have an EvenBrake portable brake system and I am wondering if it works without the monitor system hooked up. Thanks

The Roadmaster Even Brake Portable Flat Tow Brake System item # RM-9400 will work without the Receiver for the Roadmaster Even Brake Braking Monitor item # RM-9410 but you won't be able to adjust the settings.

The Transmitter item # RM-9420 is required for the system to work. The transmitter not only sends signals to the monitor in the cab so you know that everything is working properly but it also communicates with the system as you apply the brakes to allow for proper function. Without the transmitter the Even Brake would sense an error and would not work correctly.
