Faucet Replacement

Question:

Looking for replacement handles and valve stems for a Phoenix dual handle, tub shower. The shower is activated by the diverter on the tub spout. It is on a double wide mobile with no access panel to replace the whole faucet.

In order to find replacement parts for your current faucet we'd need to know the brand and model number. With you having a mobile home I doubt they used any RV industry parts as there's typically a higher cost over residential components. If I were you I'd take a few pictures and go to your local hardware store to look for replacement components. Is there any brand name etched into the faucet? If so, I'd call the manufacturer so that they could either send you replacements or point you in the right direction.

If you can't find anything then you unfortunately would need to cut an access hole in the wall behind the shower to replace the faucet entirely.

I replaced this faucet a few years ago and the only thing that is stamped on it is Phoenix RV. I talked to our plumbing supply and they suggested going on line to look for replacement valve stems and handles. This house was built with the fiberglass shower stall wet wall sharing a common wall with the hot water heater. The only way you can make an access panel is to remove the hot water heater and that is not an option
