Now, if your dual-handle Phoenix Faucet is leaking, especially from the handles or spout, when the water is turned off, it's likely the compression stems are worn out. Over time, the rubber washers degrade and threads can wear down. So this is going to replace two compression stems for your Phoenix dual-handle acrylic knob-style faucets, and this is designed for the sink-mounted faucets and exposed tub or shower faucets. Needed a replacement stem for a bathtub/shower. Nothing could be found locally so I made a call to Phoenix, got the part number, and was referred to etrailer as a supplier. Placed the order on line and received the part in a timely manner.
When I inspected the part I expected problems as the part numbers on the stems (old and new) did not match. The shank of the new was a little longer than the old. Gave it a try anyway, and it worked! No more leak!
