Trailer Hitch Receiver With Most Ground Clearance For 2022 Subaru Outback

Question:

car: 2022 Subaru Outback Onyx XT What are the top 2 or 3 hitches with the most ground clearance? I need this to take bikes off-road using a hitch bike rack. The OEM Subaru hitch has 14 inches ground clearance and thats pretty low when going over mountain roads with bumps and dips.

For your 2022 Subaru Outback Onyx, the trailer hitch receiver that offers the most ground clearance is the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2" # C67JR. To verify if it's any better than your OEM hitch, you can measure from the inside top of the receiver opening, to the ground. The Curt # C67JR has a measurement of 16" as you can see in the photo I attached, so if your measurement is less than 16", this Curt receiver is a better option for ground clearance.
