Recommended Brake Shoes and Dust Cap for 7,000 lbs Axles

Question:

I have a 2021 Dutchman voltage 3915. It has 3 7,000 lb axles with ultra lube on. Do you know what brake shoes are components I might need to replace them. And what size bearing dust cover I might need.

I do if your 2021 Dutchman Voltage 3915 Toy Hauler has Dexter 7,000 lbs brake assemblies like item # 23-180-181. If you do not have Dexter 7,000 lbs brake assemblies I will need you to email me back part numbers of what you do have because these are manufacturer specific.

To replace brake shoes on Dexter Electric Trailer Brakes item # 23-180-181 you will need the Replacement Shoe Kit for Dexter 12" x 2" Manual Adjust Electric Brake Assembly item # DX28FR. These will work for both the left and the right hand side and are sold individually.

To replace brake shoes on Dexter Nev-R-Adjust Electric Trailer Brakes item # 23-464-465 you will need the Right Hand Replacement Shoe and Lining for Nev-R-Adjust 12" x 2" Electric item # K71-676 and the Left Hand Replacement Shoe and Lining for Nev-R-Adjust 12" x 2" Electric item # K71-675. The Nev-R-Adjust brakes are side specific.

7,000 lbs trailer axles use a grease/dust cap with a 2.72" inner diameter, which means you would need item # K7CAP to access the zerk fittings on the spindle. It doesn't hurt to measure the inside diameter of the hub in order to ensure you have the correct grease cap.
