Correct Replacement Base for a B&W Companion 5th Wheel For a 2018 Chevrolet Sivlerado 3500

Question:

I purchased a 25k BandW Companion 5th wheel Hitch model #RVB3715 for my 2018 Chevy 3500 High Country. I was told several times it was compatible for my truck series up to a 2019. I drive many hours to go pick it up and the base no way near matches the puck system in the bed of my truck that I verified was OEM and not aftermarket when I purchased it. The base didn’t match from side to side or top to bottom to the puck system. Now my question is can I just purchase a new base for this head? If so what is the correct base and what are the measurements of the puck holes so that I can verify before ordering? Or do I have to purchase an entire new 5th wheel hitch? Thanks

Sorry to hear about your unfortunate situation, but you'll be pleased to know that yes you can just replace the base and you'll be good to go - you won't have to swap out the entire hitch.

With that said, the correct base for your truck is the Replacement Base for B&W Companion OEM 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch for Chevy/GMC # BWRVB3705.

Also, this base measures 39" wide x 30.25" deep and has a 43" wide x 34.5" deep footprint.
