Solution for MaxxFan RV Roof Vent that Won't Close all the Way

Question:
My RV Max Fan won’t close all the way. It opens all the way but only comes down part way. The knob can be turned but won’t go down any further. Some one said it may be in Co traction Stage but I’m not sure what that actually means?

It sounds like there might be some issues with the operator which is the mechanism that raises and lowers the lid. For that you'd need the part # MA10-20281K-1AF. While you're there you might look at the lift arms too to make sure those are good as well. The replacement would be the part # MA10-20222KS.
