Replacing A 125255UC Double Lip Grease Seal

Trailer grease seals. Hub is on a torsion axle from Northern Tool. Existing double lip seals have number 125255CU. OD is 1.975 OD of spindle is 1.230 width is .390. Pls advise.

The 125255UC seal has a 1.249" ID and a 1.983" OD and for that our part # 34823 will be the correct replacement.

Are you absolutely sure about that inner diameter measurement? Every other listing I look at shows the ID for seal code 125255UC at 1.25" or 1.249"

@Derek Looks like we had some bad/dated info on our site that recommended the wrong seal size. After a bit of digging we got to the bottom of it. The 125255UC seal has a 1.249" ID and a 1.983" OD and for that our part # 34823 will be the correct replacement. Sorry for any confusion. The answer above will be updated.

Hi Tony; the #BK2-100 and #TMK52VR come with the same size bearings and grease seal. The main difference is the Timken name. This is usually associated with a higher quality bearings that are made in the USA which also accounts for the higher cost.
