Can 2017 Chevy equinox with FWD be flat towed?

Yes, your 2017 Chevrolet Equinox FWD can be flat towed with all 4 wheels on the ground. Do understand that you will need to run your Equinox for 5 minutes every time you stop for gas to properly lubricate your transmission and before towing. A better option may be to use a Dolly # DM9713093 so you will not have to let your engine run before towing or during stops.
If you prefer to flat tow you will need the following components.
Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plate Kit # RM-523184-5
Roadmaster Nighthawk All-Terrain Tow Bar # RM-676
Roadmaster Accessory Kit # RM-9284-2
Brake Buddy Select 3 Portable Supplemental Braking System # HM39524
If you have a 4 cylinder engine you will need the Roadmaster FuseMaster Fuse Bypass Switch # RM-76517. Otherwise for a 6 cylinder engine you will need the Bypass # RM76511.
