I’m having issues with flat towing my 2023 jeep wrangler rubicon xe using the blue ox system . I’m having to spend over $3k on an entire new breaking system. I’m hearing confusing opinions on towing the xe. Can you or can you not flat tow this vehicle with the blue ox system. If so what settings or changes do you need to make?

Yes, you can flat tow your 2023 Jeep Wrangler 4xe using the Blue Ox Patriot Radio Frequency, Portable Braking System # BLU37TR. The only additional part you should need is the Charge Line # RM-156-25 to prevent the battery from becoming drained by the braking system over time. If you already have a 7-way to 6-way connecting your Jeep to the motorhome then that is all you will need otherwise we have the Kit # RM-15267 so you will be able to connect the charge line if you are currently only using a 4-way flat connector for the tail lights.

When you connect the Patriot you will need to use the MAX FORCE setting in the setup menu. This is needed since the brakes will not have the traditional power assist from the vehicle in operation.
