Will The B&W Companion Slider From 2020 Silverado 1500 Also Fit 2024 3500 8' Bed Puck System?
Question:
I have a BandW companion slider on my 2020 1500. Will it work on my 2024 Silverado 3500 dually. If what do I need?

Expert Reply:
Since your 2020 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 does not have the option for a factory prep/puck system you will be better switching to the B&W Companion OEM 5th Wheel Hitch # BWRVK3715. This will drop into the factory pucks on your 2024 Chevrolet Silverado 3500 long bed dually.
The Base # BWRVB3405 you have on your B&W Companion Slider # BWRVK3400 is very large and bulky and if you were to transfer your current Head # BWRVC3006 to either the 20K Base # BWRVB3710 or 25K Base # BWRVB3715 you will then just have the base which will be harder to sell
