Question:
I am considering a Furrion FOS43TASF for my 2021 Coachmen Chaparral 25RE. The VIN is 5ZT3CLPBXMA326691. I saw where you requested a VIN from another customer so you could contact the manufacturer to see if the pre wire was wired for a constant 12V supply rather than just power during reverse. Can you please let me know how my power supply is wired on my 5th wheel? Thank you

It does appear your 2021 Coachmen Chaparral 25RE is prewired for the Furrion Vision S Wireless RV Backup Camera System # FOS43TASF. I do warn as I have often seen it before to setup the connection in your vehicle by connecting the camera to the outlet on the monitor charge cable. This will allow you to more easily pair the units together. Also your trailers running lights are what provide power to the monitor so make sure they are one by switching your headlights on. And finally if the camera does not receive power when mounted the manufacturer may have wired the power wires for the Prep Kit # FRCBRKT-BL or you may require an Adapter # FR87PR if your tow vehicle uses PWM wiring(Commonly found on new Silverados/Sierras) to detect when bulbs go out on the trailer lights.
Something you might also consider is a larger 5" Screen Kit # FOS05TASF which will make it easier to see. We also have a 7" Kit # FR98NR which has the largest monitor available and side cameras you can install in place of your front clearance lights which will allow you to better see when manuvering your trailer in tight areas. The screen is capable of viewing up to 4 cameras at the same time or easily selecting one camera by using the touch screen.
