Would Winterizing The RV Cause An E1 Error On A Furrion Tankless Water Heater

Question:

We have winterized our camper and drained all the water. Went into the camper this morning and there is an E1 code on our tankless water heater. Could this be because there’s no water in the system? Will the screen stay illuminated all winter long? We have a 2023 Keystone hideout.

An E1 error on your Furrion Tankless Water Heater # FR93FR means that it tried to ignite the burner and couldn't. Having the gas bottles off or a clogged regulator will typically be the cause of this. To prevent the wall control from sitting there with the error code on it you can just flip the switch inside the main unit to cut the power and prevent unnecessary battery drain. Just remember to turn it back on next season when you're ready to camp again.
