Furrion RV Tankless Water Heater Recommendation for 2021 Jayco Pinnacle

Question:

Which Furrion and replacement door do you recommend? Im replacing a 10gal dometic with a 16x16 cutout on a 2021 Jayco pinnacle.

Hey Priscilla, since you have a Dometic water heater that currently has a 16 inch by 16 inch door currently the correct Furrion Tankless Water Heater would be the part # FR32TD that you referenced which comes with this size door. Are you ready for endless hot water in your camper??

Well according to the chart inside the manuel the only door that goes up to 16"x16" cutout is the 18x18 door. Am I reading this wrong?

Priscilla, We installed a smaller footprint Furrion RV Tankless Water Heater - Propane - Automatic Pilot - 60,000 Btu - Black Part Number: FR93FR We absolutely love this unit, it was an easy install and hook up. There are 3 of us and we have never had a problem with water flow being an issue, we have used both the fresh water tank and pump as well as campground water supply. We installed the BLU water 3 stage filter system and softner and still never had any problem with flow or the on demand water heater not working. The endless supply of hot water is amazing. Only down side would be of you boondock alot you will use extra water from your tank. I am not sure on the Jayco but we pulled the wiring schematic for ours to find the proper location to pull power to operater the thermostat. I did have to do a very little trimming for the water heater to go in the hole in the camper but this was not the fault of the water heater this was due to camper manufacturers not being able to make a true square opening. Please feel free to send any questions I would be available to answer and questions. I would make sure your cutout is truely 16x16 then call etrailer for the proper door for that unit, there support will help you. Thank you

@PriscillaR I'm sorry I read that wrong. I thought I read that your current door is 16 inch. You would need the larger size then which is 18 by 18 with the part # FR42TD.
