Yes, you'll need capture plate # GY98FR in order to tow a trailer with a Gen-Y Hitch Shock Absorbing 5th Wheel Pin Box # 325-GH-8040 using a Demco Autoslide 5th Wheel Hitch # DM8550034. As the head of the Autoslide turns it slides back giving you more turning clearance. Without a capture plate the king pin would be able to rotate in the jaws of the hitch and wouldn't force the head to turn and slide back.
