Why Do The Arms Of My Roadmaster Nighthawk Tow Bar Keep Falling To The Ground

Question:

I have a rm 676 and when it folds up to stow on rv you can lay it left or right not it does not lock it will go down until it hits the ground

The Roadmaster Nighthawk All-Terrain Tow Bar w/ LED Lights # RM-676 has a Locking tab up top that prevents the arms from pivoting down fully to the ground. If you don't fold the arms up and get the locking tab nut in the hole in the locking tab and then fold the arms down to either side the pivot point will allow the arms to fall all the way down. Having played with this before I can say it is a bit of a pain to get he pivot point lined up exactly to the locking tab perfectly so you might have to play with the arms a bit to get it all lined up.
