Question:

Recommendations on a 2 5/16 coupler lock for my new trailer. I have pictures of the coupler that I can send as I see different locks go on different couplers

To prevent any fitment issues with the lip of your coupler the best choice is a lock like the Reese Tow and Store Lock Kit # RP7014700. The ball will sit up inside the coupler and the latch bolt will wrap around the top of the coupler. It can fit 1-7/8", 2", & 2-5/16" couplers for a universal fit if you want to lock up different trailers. It will also come with two hitch pin locks as well as a coupler latch lock, with all locks being keyed alike so you'll only need one key.
