What Can be Used to Clean and Protect Trailer 7-Way

Question:
My travel trailer has a bad connection in the 7 way connector to the tow vehicle. What do you recommend for cleaning and to prevent recurrence? Thank you!

Sandpaper or a wire brush typically works the best to clean the pins of a 7-way to allow it to make contact like needed. To protect it when not in use we do have 7-way caps like the part # FA82-00-3315 that would work great for you.
