Expert Reply:

Yes, to lock out your Reese Sidewinder, like part # RP77FR, for use with a long bed truck you just need to remove the wedge and then install the bolts at the back end of the pin box to prevent it from rotating (see attached).

This is the same case for all Sidewinder pin boxes. Once this is done the pin box will stay in a fixed position and will rotate at the king pin as opposed to the turret.
