The Universal Hardware Kit that you referenced # RP30439 is part of a more comprehensive parts kit # 30035 (which includes the rails and a few other hardware components).

We do not have the installation instructions for only the hardware kit # RP30439, but I have linked the # RP30035 installation instructions to this reply for your reference.

I have also included a link to a video on a different style of truck, but the installation process will be the same on your 2001 K1500 Truck.
