Does Truxedo Elevate Ladder Rack Come with Locks

are there security locks for the TruXedo elevate system.

There isn't a lock setup to secure the TruXedo Elevate Truck Bed Rack System # TX76NV to your truck. It would take someone familiar with the system and the correct tools (and time) to remove it and steal it though. It's not a high theft item.

I just bought this +$1000 rack and rails and I can assure you that unfortunately a 1/2" socket and Allen wrench is all you need. It's a shame that they don't provide security nuts and bolts.

@WilliamH I would agree that it seems at least a little vulnerable to theft but we've not heard any of our customers come back and report that someone stole theirs. There are a lot of accessories that people just bolt to their vehicles like side steps, bumper guards, and hitches that could pretty easily just be removed with right tools that just don't end up getting stolen.

As being advertised as easy on and easy off access system, I myself am concerned about the security of it and why they haven’t come up with some kind of locking system on the bolts
