My working space is 44” wide by 59 7/8, from wall to door. Will the 60” long size work, even if I have to cut or grind a 1/4” off. Is that even possible? Will it be needed as the given directions allow for that variation in size? All the other sizes aren’t quite what I need

If you're willing to make modifications to allow the 60 inch long MORryde Cargo Sliding Tray part # MR83FR fit in your working area that is 59-7/8 inches this would work for you. It's hard to say exactly what you'd be best doing but this could work.
